Bargain and proof
This dungeon cell has everything you'd expect in a dungeon cell: darkness, naked stone, chains, cold, dampness, rats. The rats may even have been added on purpose; they certainly aren't tolerated elsewhere in Jinlintai.
A listless figure, dark and ragged, hair obscuring its face, drooping hands pale and lined with resentful energy, is hanging by the rusty chains from the dank, naked walls.
The door opens, and Jin Guangyao enters, all golden finery, this black hat prim and proper.
The chained figure -- Wen Ning! -- looks up, with a hopeful smile on his pale, pale face.
"It is done, as agreed," Jin Guangyao says, pulling the tablet computer from Milliways out of his qiankun sleeve.
Wen Ning's hopeful smile grows wider.
Jin Guangyao comes closer and shows the screen to Wen Ning. There are pictures, from Milliways, showing Wen Qing -- with Lan Wangji, with Zenigata, walking up the stairs...
"Your sister is alive and free," Jin Guangyao says, pushing a stray strand of dark, matted hair almost tenderly behind the fierce corpses ear. He swipes, showing more pictures. "Look how lovely her smile ist still -- or again. She is safe. Will you be good now?"
Wen Ning nods.
Jin Guangyao returns the tablet to his pocket; then, he steps outside the cell and calls for Xue Yang.-
